Wayne Cardinalli has been a full-time potter since 1969 when he graduated from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art with an M.F.A. Degree in Ceramics. His work has been featured in various publications, including Ceramics Monthly Magazine.
He has taught ceramics part time at Art Gallery of Burlington, Dundas Valley School of Art and Halliburton School of Art, both in the summer workshops and the Fleming College Certificate Programme. Cardinalli has conducted over 150 workshops, lectures, demonstrations and critiques for various organizations throughout Ontario and in the Northern USA.
Cardinalli has exhibited his work in many juried, group and one-person shows, including “The Black Nail Projects, New Ceramics”. His work was featured at the David Kaye Gallery in Toronto in 2009. He exhibited in “Big Fish, Small Pot V ”, 5th International Small Teapot Competition 2012 at the American Museum of Ceramic Art, Pomona, California and was awarded honourable mention.
